Praized

Praized enables publishers to provide their users with an easy way to recommend local places to each other. It’s the first distributed local search platform designed specifically for sites with a vibrant and engaged community like media sites, blogs, social networks and other vertical sites. There’s no easier way to capture, organize and aggregate local conversations about places.

We keep things relevant to each community by using a unique distributed approach that shows recommendations within the context of each tribe. So the top-ranked restaurants on a vegan site will be different than the ones on a meat-lovers’ site because the two groups have fundamentally different tastes. Praizers can see an aggregated view of local conversations from all communities at the Praized.com Hub, which will drive new traffic back to each community site.

The Praized platform also serves as a valuable ad network for local media and other local search providers. They generate leads from the social media space with contextual ads within the user-generated content. And not only is the basic version of Praized free for publishers and users, it lets publishers keep all the revenue from ads that are outside the platform in the header and sidebars. Praized also offers an enterprise version of its platform to large media publishers.
